Moldovan Holiday Camp for Refugee Children

Two thirds of Ukraine's children have been displaced since February. Most have lost their homes; some have witnessed violence and destruction; others have been injured, abused or bereaved. When Jason Lane, Innovista International Director, recently visited Ukraine, he described "a profound sense of collective trauma" everywhere he went.

Innovista, Moldova (headed up by Maricela...can you spot her in the red polka dot skirt?!) organised, planned and ran a wonderful holiday camp for Ukrainian refugee children with games, singing, Gospel presentation and of course a dinosaur!

Therefore days like this are vital for children as they try to move on with their lives and process what they have been through.
